Chess Cinema Studio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is a plain-language summary of how Chess Cinema Studio handles information. It is a starting template written for an early-stage project and is not legal advice; review it and adjust it to match exactly how your tools behave.

What we collect

This website does not require an account and does not run advertising trackers. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

Your chess games and videos

Chess Cinema and Video Effects Lab run in your browser: the games (PGNs), videos and exports you work with are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Neither tool contains analytics or advertising trackers, and neither stores your files or games in your browser's storage.

How we use information

We use emails you send us only to reply to you and to improve the tools. We do not sell personal information.

Third parties

This website, including the Chess Cinema and Video Effects Lab pages, is served through Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

The Chess Cinema page loads one third-party resource: the open-source chess.js library, which is requested from cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Loading it sends your browser's request, including your IP address, to that service, as with any externally hosted script. Your games and videos are not sent there. Video Effects Lab loads no third-party resources.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete any email correspondence by writing to [email protected].
